Managing Inconsistent Intelligence
نویسنده
چکیده
In this paper we demonstrate that it is possible to manage intelligence in constant time as a pre-process to information fusion through a series of processes dealing with issues such as clustering reports, ranking reports with respect to importance, extraction of prototypes from clusters and immediate classification of newly arriving intelligence reports. These methods are used when intelligence reports arrive which concerns different events which should be handled independently, when it is not known a priori to which event each intelligence report is related. We use clustering that runs as a back-end process to partition the intelligence into subsets representing the events, and in parallel, a fast classification that runs as a front-end process in order to put the newly arriving intelligence into its correct information fusion process.

Managing Emotional Intelligence in Socio-individual Morality in an Islamic Approach
Human mind and intelligence, respectively for thinking logically and thinking abstractly, are among the God-given gifts. Islamic teachings have paid special attention to human as a multi-dimensional creature with moral functions. In order to manage humane behavior, Islam encourages believers toward self-awareness, self-improvement, refinement, recognition of virtues, and moral beauties which ar...

Many different models for handling imperfect information have been proposed in the context both of databases and of artificial intelligence. In general these are either symbolic methods for handling incomplete information or numerical models for handling imprecision, vagueness or uncertainty, and all typically handle a different aspect of the problem. In this paper we suggest that in order to p...
متن کاملManaging Inconsistent Possibilistic Knowledge Bases by An Argumentation Approach
Inconsistent knowledge bases usually are regarded as an epistemic hell that have to be avoided at all costs. However, many times it is di cult or impossible to stay away of managing inconsistent knowledge bases. In this paper, we introduce an argumentation-based approach in order to manage inconsistent possibilistic knowledge bases. This approach will be exible enough for managing inconsistent ...
متن کاملOn Localities of Knowledge Inconsistency
Inconsistency is commonplace in the real world in long-term memory and knowledge based systems. Managing inconsistency is considered a hallmark of the plasticity of human intelligence. Belief revision is an important mental process that underpins human intelligence. To facilitate belief revision, it is necessary to know the localities and contexts of inconsistency and how different types of inc...
